Can I run It?. Recommended and Minimum pc game Test Drive Unlimited 2 system requirements. Test Drive Unlimited 2 is an open world racing video game. Developed by Eden Games and published by Atari, the Game was released in February 2011. It is abbreviated as ‘TDU 2’. The game is a part of the acclaimed ‘Test Drive Series’ and is its tenth installment. In addition to this, TDU 2 proves to be a direct sequel to the 2006 game, Test Drive Unlimited. Like its predecessor, this game too features an open world. Test Drive Unlimited 2 was made for the platforms of Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Test Drive Unlimited 2 received mixed critique upon its release. IGN.com gave the game a mixed response with a rating of 5.5 out of a total 10. GameSpot rated the game as 7/10. The game’s aggregate score on Metacritic summed up to be 72/100 for the PC version. The aggregating website, GameRankings gave the TDU 2 a 74.50% approval rating for the PC version.
The reason for the game’s lowered score as compared to the previous installment was the technical issues which arose since the release of TDU 2. The bugs which interfered with the online connectivity of the game rendered the game almost unplayable and caused the studio to shut down the multiplayer mode altogether. Among the issues faced generally were server blackouts, faulty connectivity, and other online features’ inability to function properly. For this reason, numerous patches were released with the aim to provide a solution to these recurring problems. The downloadable content packages introduced new cars and tracks to the game. While these packages can be downloaded free of cost, they require in-game tokens to render the content playable. These tokens are bought for real money. Problems are faced across all the platforms. These, among many, include corrupted saved files, connection problems between multiplayers, inabilities to start a game in the online mode. Patches were released to fix these issues. However, these packages never fully resolved the issues and problems still persist in the game.
